About us

Superior Quality

Jazz Pub is an Irish public house in Celje, first opened in 1995. After five quiet years a new team is opening the doors again, under the old name. Mahogany, brass, a pint poured slowly and one rule, written on the wall: Superior Quality.

We open at 6:30 for the first coffee and close after the last round. The music is never in a hurry, and neither should you be.

Guinness, Hop House 13, Stella Artois, Madrí and Paulaner wheat and dark, poured slowly and properly.

Whiskey

20 whiskies, from Jameson to Redbreast, Talisker and Nikka. Ask us for a recommendation.

Cocktails

Eight classics, our Celjanček (Jameson, ginger beer, lime), spritzers and alcohol-free cocktails.

The Jazz Smash

Our smash burger with Irish cheddar and stout-caramelised onions. And in the morning, a freshly baked croissant with your first coffee.

Coffee for regulars

Coffee, tea or cocoa – up to 2 drinks every weekday, Mon–Fri 6:30–15:00, for €39 a month or €390 a year. The card lives in your phone wallet.

The first 100 founding members pay €35 a month for 12 months. Sign up at the bar.

Private parties

A birthday, a business evening or a night out with the team? Book the mezzanine or the whole pub, with live music and bar food on request.

Mezzanine: Up to 16 guests, the upper gallery above the bar, among our carved jazz band.
The whole pub: Up to 50 guests, the whole room and the stage.
Made to measure: Live music, The Jazz Smash, a whiskey tasting. Tell us what you have in mind.

No room hire fee, just a minimum spend on food and drinks: mezzanine from €250 (Friday and Saturday from €350), the whole pub from €800 (Friday and Saturday from €1,500). Bookings run for 4 hours, with a 30% deposit.
